Mass Sire Stakes nominations due May 15

Plainville, MA — Harness racing owners and trainers of foals who are eligible to the Massachusetts Sire Stakes should take note that the 2024 nominating payments are due on Wednesday, May 15.

Foals of 2023 from a resident mare registered with the Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts, Inc. and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources are eligible for registration to the Massachusetts Breeding Program. Yearling registration requires a copy of the U.S.T.A registration certificate and the fee of $25.00 and are both due on May 15. Late registration will be accepted until December 31, 2024. Late registration requires a copy of the U.S.T.A registration certificate and the May 15 fee of $25.00 plus a $500.00 late fee.
