Freya T Boko wins Laszlo Ferge at Kincsem Park

Freya T Boko (3f Campo Bella-Jasmine F. Boko-Trixton) took the 3,000,000Huf purse Laszlo Ferge Anniversary at Kinsem Park (Budapest) raced over 1960 meters distance handicap.

A 20-meter handicap this Goran Zolnaji driven winner is trained by Adrian Burany and won her first of the year after a miscue in her first start. Last year she won twice in three appearances. She was bred by Boko Stables BV and current owner M. Tisma of Szerbia. She was off at 8.4/1 odds and the winning time was 1.17.9kr.

Farosz (3m Merengo-Bonjour Evo-Donato Hanover) was second as 5.6/1 for trainer/driver Andor Angyal and she too raced plus 20 meters. Fenegyerek (3m Merengo-Mellnby Éclair-From Above) was third for trainer/driver Balazs Juhasz at 4.7/1. Felhok Felett and Fliegauf completed the first five to the line.

The co-featured Dr, Tamas Borostyankoy Memorial (purser 2,000,000Huf, 2560 meters distance handicap, eight starters) saw 7.9/1 odds Street Genius (5m Uncle Lasse-Dats Veronica-Credit Winner) score in 1.16.9kr over the stated distance.

Steet Genius and driver Imre Fazekas

Imre Fazekas reined the Bernadett Balough trainee for Prolongo III. This was the second win in three 2024 starts for Steet Genius after seven wins last year in 11 outings. The 1.6/1 favorite Coach Degli Dei (5f Brillantiaaime-In Foi Axe-Love You) was second driven by trainer Goran Zolnaji. This one was bred by Scuderia Perno Agr and Degi Dei Srl. Finishing third was 8/1 Eternity Bar (4f Maharajah-Salome’ Bar-Ganymede) with trainer Veljko Mazsity driving. Palace Bo and Duc de Connee finished fourth and fifth from handicapped starting positions.
