Fear The Dragon three year old Black Billie Gee debuted eleven days ago at Rangiora finishing second after sitting parked for some of the race. He draws barrier seven in Race Two.

In the Group Two Rakaia Seed Cleaning Sapling Stakes Bettor Go Vinnie (Vincent) wears the White colours. He’s a half-brother to I’llavabubbles (Always B Miki) and ran a nice third on debut at Addington last week.

In the Group Three Helen Pope Fillies Classic for two year old fillies Brent and Tim line up One For Jay (Sweet Lou). She hung on the final bend in her recent debut and lost momentum.

Commander Joe (Art Major) and Shards Matrix (Sweet Lou) front up in Race Eight.

Commander Joe was a seven and three quarter length winner at Timaru at his last start and draws barrier one for Sunday.

Shards Matrix upset at this meeting last season, winning the Sapling Stakes. He’s yet to recapture that form this time in.
