Two 120,000€ groupe II monte harness racing events Friday, May 31, highlighted the Paris-Vincennes program this day.
In the Gr. II Prix Victor Cavey (Etrier 5 Ans Q3, purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 11 five-year-old open starters) the 9/1 odds Jeroboam d’Erable (5m Prodigious-Amitaute) scored easily timed in 1.12.3kr. Damien Bonne rode the Charley Thomain trainee for Ecurie du Haras d’Erable. This was his fifth win in 25 starts now for career earnings of 169,690€.
Joumba de Guez (5f Carat Williams-Quoumba de Guez) was second at 2.2/1 for jockey Eric Raffin, trainer Jean Michel Bazire and owner Ecurie Vautors. Third was 2.3/1 second choice Jean Balthazar (5m Alto de Viette( with Benjamin Rochard in the irons for trainer Pascal Castel and owner Sandrine Loncke.

Next, the Gr. II monte Prix Lavater – Etrier 4 Ans Q3 (purse 120,000€, 2700 meters, 14 four-year open starters) was won by 7.2/1 Kelly de Banville (4f Eridan-Bartavelle du Rib) ridden by Paul Philippe Ploquin and timed in 1.12.7kr.
Stephane Bourlier trains this six-time career winner in 18 starts for Yoland Fournier, the owner. She was an open lengths winner and now has career earnings of 198,630€.
The 1.2/1 odds favorite Kyt Kat (4m Booster Winner) was second for Matthieu Mottier the jockey for trainer Thomas Levesque and proprietor Ecurie du Pommiers. The 7.4/1 odds Kyrielle des Vaux (4f Rolling d’Heripre) took third money for jockey Guillaume Lenain and trainer Charley Thomain.

Finally, the Prix Pythia (purse 75,000€, 2850 meters, 16 European starters ages 6-11) had the 5/1odds favorite Inexess Bleu (Vittel de Brevol – Pearl Of Charm) score timed in 1.12.4kr for reinsman Alexandre Abrivard.
