Lovissime takes Gr. III Monte Test at Vincennes

Today at Paris-Vincennes was the featured Gr. III Pris Serpentis (purse 70,000, seven three-year-old open monte trotteurs) that the 5/10 favorite Lovissime (Love You-Elegantissime-Ready Cash) won easily. The three-year-old filly was ridden by jockey Mathieu Mottier for trainer Philippe Allaire and breeder/owner Frederic Sauque. She now has four victories in six career starts for 89,650€ earned. Learn To Fly (3m Uriel Speed) was second at 8.1/1 odds with Benjamin Rochard the jockey for trainer Frederic Senet and owner/breeder Michele Stihl. The 17/1 Le Jibay (3m Brillantissime) was third for Victor Saussaye.

On the monte undercard the 1.5/1 odds Janzibar (5g Dollar Macker-Adrienne du Citrus) won the Prix des Ploermel (purse 60,000€, 2850 meters, 12 European starters ages 4-5, monte) for jockey Alexandre Abrivard, trainer L.C. Abrivard and breeder/owner Jean Pierre Barjon. The winner now has seven wins in 22 starts for 140,360€ earned. Jade d’Amour (5f Carat Williams) was second for Alan Gendrot the jockey for trainer Marc Sassier at 28/1 odds. Jason du Conroy (5g Booster Winner) took third at 19/1 with Nathalie Henry aboard for trainer Guillaume Gillot.

In the Prix Talitha (purse 40,000€, 2850 meters, 12 European starters all four year old females) the 7.5/1 odds Speedrise Lady S (4f Walner-Smexi) controlled the pace leading to a 1.15.7kr timed length victory. Trainer Michel Rothengatter did the teaming for Dragon Trotters BV as the mare won in his first start in France to advance her earnings to 51,120€. Eltyme (4f Face Time Bourbon-Liberale) was second at 2.6/1 odds in her first start in France. Franck Nivard reined this one for Az. Agr. Caracciolo and trainer Afrim Shmidra. Watch for this pair of young mares going forward.
