I Prix Albert Viel at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes in France today (June 23) (purse 200,000€, 2700 meters, 15 three-year-old open starters) with P-Y Verva at the lines for Jean Luc Dersoir training for Ecurie Luck.
The winner now has four career wins in nine starts for 206,325€ earned. The race time was quick 1.12.0kr over the Amerique distance. Loulou de Mye (3m Clif du Pommereux) was a game second with Matthieu Abrivard driving for Ecurie du Mont Joly and trainer R.C. Larue.
Third was the even-money favorite Liza Josselyn (3f Ready Cash-Belina Josselyn) and driver/trainer Jean Michel Bazire. This filly bred and owned by Ecurie Yvan Bernard now has six career wins in eight starts after tiring from a brutal journey at or near the front.
Leonardo Roc (3m Django Riff) was fourth at 143/1 for Gaby Gelormini driving for Vitale Ciotola the trainer. 19/1 odds Louisiane de Bomo (3f Ready Cash) was fifth for reinsman Benjamin Rochard and conditioner William Bigeon.
