Gilles Barrieau put Red Shores track record co-holder on the front to call the shots through splits of 28.1, 57.1 and 1:25 flat to stop the clock in a sizzling 1:52.4. Fern Hill General (Kenny Arsenault) was second while Roll Em (Brady Sweet) completed the traictor. The 1-4-5 combination returned $30.70.

Bee Two Bee, who returned to notch his first win of the 2024 Charlottetown campaign, is trained by Ashely Gamester for owners Donald MacRae and Blair MacLauchlan, PE. Gamester also recorded a training victory with Ididitmyshui driven by Mark Bradley.

In other action, Imalookertoo (Sweet) charted a 1:55.3 score for trainer Jeff Holmes and owner Robert Sumarah, Halifax, N.S. The seven-year son of Shadow Play was sent off at 3/5 odds and posted his third win in a row. Sweet and Holmes also clicked with Burn Out Hanover in 1:56.4 for the driving and training double.

Barrieau, Bradley, Adam Merner and Ken Murphy, also posted driving doubles on the program.

Red Shores opened the live racing broadcast with a special tribute to colleague, friend and industry leader Kent Oakes who passed away Friday.
