Logan Park (Archangel) reasserted his dominance over the highest overnight trotting level at Woodbine Mohawk Park with a harness racing win in the $36,000 Preferred Handicap on Monday (Jul. 1).
Doug McNair fired him away from post six with :27.2 speed to the quarter. He was unchallenged to the half in :56.3 but met Osceola (Trevor Henry) first-up to three-quarters in 1:25.3. Osceola remained at the leaderās wheel down the stretch with Gaines Hanover (Sylvain Filion) looking for room from third, but Logan Park neutralized them both and thundered home to win by a length in 1:52.2. Osceola held off Gaunes Hanover for second.

Logan Park is now four-for-six on the season with place finishes in his two defeats. Kyle Fellows trains the six-year-old, Canadaās 2023 Older Trotting Horse of the Year. The gelding has now won 28 of 70 career starts and has earned $1,160,192 for Outofthepark Stable of Rockwood, Reg Higgs of Ilderton, and Arpad Szabo of Bradford.
