Tells On A Roll (Tellitlikeitis) dropped her lifetime mark below 1:50 for the first time as the harness racing mare won her eighth Fillies and Mares Preferred of the season on Friday (Jul. 12) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
Travis Cullen pushed her out from post six to take the early lead, going beyond So Much More (James MacDonald) nearing the quarter in :26.4. Tells On A Roll had things her way to the half in :56 before Prohibition Legal (Louis-Philippe Roy) advanced to attack as they raced to three-quarters in 1:23.2
Prohibition Legal clawed to the front in mid-stretch, but she ran out of gas shortly after, and Tells On A Roll pulled away again to a three-and-a-quarter-length victory in 1:49.4.
Prohibition Legal cruised home for second with So Much More in third.
