Fashion Frenzie (Archangel) dominated in his second victory of the harness racing season in the $36,000 Preferred-Handicap Trot at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Monday (Jul. 22).
The gelding cut the mile for Louis-Philippe Roy, enjoying a pressure-free reign through panels of :26.3, :55, and 1:23.4. He pulled away from the first-over Handsome Sebastian (Trevor Henry) down the stretch and cruised to victory with a three-and-a-half-length margin in 1:52.2. Handsome Sebastian proved second-best. Franks Angel (Bob McClure) finished third.

Fashion Frenzie has now won 26 of 46 lifetime starts, including two Ontario Sires Stakes Super Finals and the Earl Rowe Memorial Trot two years in a row. The Richard Moreau-trained gelding has earned $1,208,587 lifetime. Ecurie Francis Richard, Gestion Mario Bourgea, Pierre Guillemette, and Sylvain Richard own the six-year-old.
Moreau also won with Mister Magic (Kadabra, James MacDonald, 1:53), Stonebridge Bravo (Muscle Mass, MacDonald, 1:53.1), and Bella Cavalla (Dover Dan, MacDonald, 1:53) for a training triple.
Racing continues at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Tuesday, Jul. 23 with a 10-race card featuring the first leg of the Whenuwishuponastar. First post will be 7:10 p.m. EDT.
