Kinnder Thinktwice (Wheeling N Dealin, Jim Taggart Jr.) captures the $15,000 Open Handicap harness racing trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (Aug. 10).
Makadushin N Cheez (Ridge Warren) was first to the quarter in :27.2.Ā Kinnder Thinktwice ($4.30) then took over control and led to the half in :56.1 and to three-quarters in 1:25.1.
As they reached the stretch second place finisher May Baby (Braxten Boyd) came all out after the leader but Kinnder Thinktwice was too strong and won in 1:54.1.Ā Stonebridge Bomber (Aaron Byron) finished third.
Kinnder Thinktwice is a 4-year-old horse owned by John Marshall and trainer Susan Marshall.Ā It was his eighth win this season and his 14th career victory.

Trainer-driver Joe Skowyra once again swept the amateur races.Ā He got his wins with The Charging Moa N (Changeover) and Flyhawk El Fuerte (Muscles Yankee).
Harness racing driver Braxten Boyd won half of the 10 races. Boyd and trainer Jenny Melander combined for three of the wins as they won with Partner Dolan (Father Patrick), Down The Pike Mike (Credit Winner), and Allsummerlong As (Triumphant Caviar).Ā His other two wins came with R Bama (Muscle Hill), and Homer Hall (Broadway Hall).
