Harrington, DE — Harrington Raceway’s 78th season of live harness racing will resume Monday night (Aug. 12) with a 15-race program (post time is 4:30 p.m.).
After a Monday/Tuesday schedule for the next two weeks, a Monday through Wednesday schedule will ensue the week of Aug. 26-28 and run through Oct. 23.
Stakes for the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund 2-year-olds will ramp up Sept. 23-25 as two elimination legs will be contested in consecutive weeks before the $110,000 finals on Oct. 7-9.
On the wagering front, bettors are reminded that free programs are available via the Delaware Standardbred Owners Association on the Harrington Raceway. There will once again be 50-cent superfectas available in most races and an early Pick-4 and late Pick-4. Both the superfecta and Pick-4 wagers feature 100 percent carryovers in lieu of consolation payouts.
Patrons can dine in Murphy’s Race and Sportsbook, where they can also order food and enjoy trackside seating in the adjacent clubhouse.
