Harness racing hits Oamaru again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:15pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Millie Let Loose (2) Freshened and went some ok trials last campaign. Chance with manners
Son E (5) Battled on late last start and trialing well. One of the better chances. Needed here
Playoffs (10) Has enough speed to be a win chance if he can trot all the way. One for odds

Race 2

Mighty Miki (10) Has a big motor and should pick up a win quickly this campaign. Top selection
The Next Best Thing (8) Form is good and should go close to top three. Good place hope here
Carrera Bravo (7) Stable respect and has been good at trials. One of the better chances. Inlcude

Race 3

Shard De Arch (5) Looked unlucky a couple of times last campaign. Winning claims fresh up
Moonlite Blood (4) Looks to have a pretty big finish if saved for one run. Just needs a good trip
Heaven (9) In form but needs a good run in transit. Should give a good account in this. Include

Race 4

Obsession (7) Good win last start and conditions suit. Should go close again in this field. Include
Style Council (2) Form suggests a good run coming here. Conditions suit and EW chance here
Kiwi Hero (8) Looks well suited from the stand. Should be right in the fight if he can race handy

Race 5

Maui (6) Freshened and is being trained on the beach. Tricky draw but at his best would go close
Ti Amo Belle (5) Racing better fields at Addington and drop back here. Should go close to top three
Galleons Ambassador (1) Getting better with racing and drawn to get a soft trip. Winning claims

Race 6

Star Magic (5) Racing well and drawn for a soft run. Another with a big finish with the right run
Playing With Stars (8) In form and will appreciate the longer trip. Can do some work in transit
Avenger (3) Even field but has been a bit unlucky on occasions. One for longer odds in this field

Race 7

Flo Motion (2) Big run after working hard in the running at Ashburton. Give another chance here
Almighty Clever (12) Tricky draw but nice finish last start. Will need luck but has winning claims
Zia Bromac (6) Quick beginner who looks well suited in this field. Likely to head forward. Include

Race 8

Helium (5) Racing ok and has won on the track. Goes best in front. Will take catching if he leads
Jimmyray (7) Has enough speed to be a threat in this. Might start favourite and has to be respected
Shepherds Delight (3) Drawn to be the early leader. Top three chance from a trailing position.

Race 9

Cappaha (3) Goes the odd good race and this field looks slightly weaker than his usual. Include
Nubliah Chamay (10) Freshened for this and has trialed ok. Chance in an even field. Needed
Brianna (2) Obvious threat in this after good second last start. Quick beginner with winning claims

Race 10

Judgement Bay (1) Gets a good draw to work with here. Should lead or trail and can go close
Piccadilly Pete (4) Likely to race handy to the speed. Goes ok on the track and hard to beat
Miki Bennett (2) Disappointing last start. Better draw here and could surprise at longer odds
