Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:35pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Mouton Cadet (5) Hasn’t had a lot of luck but looks well placed here. Should run top three
Lamarli (3) Unlucky last start with no room. One of the better chances. One for odds here
Archie (1) Drawn well and enough speed to be a win chance if he can trail all the way

Race 2

Solemn Son (3) Getting better with racing. Chance here at longer odds with the right trip
Monaro Meg (1) Should get a run through early here. Place hope from the ace draw
She’s Got Sass (12) Freshened and will be improved. Top driver booked and place hope

Race 3

Moose Morowski (5) Ok last start in a similar field. Can go close in this any improvement
Franco Elvis (2) Should get a soft run near the lead. Trainer respect and good chance
Verducci (7) Needs a good run in transit. Can run top three with a cart into the race. Include

Race 4

Wypout (4) Freshened after racing some handy fields last campaign. Big hope with manners
Clovelly Hill (11) Driver respect and getting better. Manners the key early but can win
One Mhor For Heather (3) Looks well suited from the draw. Stable in form and win chance

Itz Flash Harry (9) Disappointing last start. Tricky draw but not the worst in this
Rakero Ice (4) Big finisher at recent trials. Should go close to top three with luck
Heaven (2) Hardly ever out of the money in last several starts. Good draw and has claims

Race 6

Natives Inferno (4) Racing well and looks the best bet in this. Top selection in this field
Ginas Majesty (1) Building fitness slowly. Needs the right trip but can still win this at odds
Lookslikeatrixter (6) Weaker field and good from a stand. Has to be included in this field

Race 7

Salute (3) Up in grade but drawn well. Good win last start and can go back to back here
Vinrules (4) Obvious threat in this after a big finish last start. Go again in this field
Americano (6) Quick beginner who has been close enough last couple.Include

Race 8

Playing With Stars (1) Obvious threat in this after a big win last start. Go again in this field
Perun (2) Nice draw and should race handy to the speed. Chance here with a good trip
Ideal Chevron (7) Wide draw and will need luck but has the speed. Will be running on late

Race 9

Cardi B (9) Better than the form suggests. Tough draw here but has to be respected at odds
Style Council (5) Solid runs last few starts. Ok draw and can run top three again here
He’s Tough (1) Drawn well and might get a soft run handy to the speed. Winning claims

Race 10

Royal Yankee (1) Finished on well last start up the inner. Good place chance from the draw
High Noon (6) Driver change for this. Manners the key and he can win if he steps away ok
Maxwell Edison (5) Will need to go with them early. Wider draw but is a chance at odds

Race 11

Moet Shard (5) Racing better fields and looks well suited here. Top selection in this field
Hey Tonight (1) Drawn for a cozy run on the pegs. One paced but could surprise with luck
Judine (3) Likely to race close to the speed here. Should give a sight if back to her best
