Open Trot won off perfect two-hole trip

Inaminute Hanover (Bar Hopping) and harness racing driver Mike Merton captured the $16,000 Open Trot at Tioga Downs on Saturday (August 24).

Makadushin N Cheez (Ridge Warren) was first to the quarter in :27.4.  He used a :28.2 second quarter and led to the half in :56.1.  He continued to control things leading to three-quarters in 1:24.3.

As they reached the stretch Inaminute Hanover ($11.80) popped the pocket and blew right on by second place finisher Makadushin N Cheez to win by one and one-quarter lengths in 1:54.2.  Resolve To Win (Tyler Miller) finished third.

Inaminute Hanover is a 6-year-old horse owned by Beauty Bridle Racing Stable and trained by Jake Huff.  It was his third win this season.  He now has 19 career victories.

Braxten Boyd had a driving grand slam.  He got his wins with Practical Cat, Salem Seelster, Summer Shoes, and P Chico.
