Juno wins Danskt Mares Derby; Copenhagen Sale in the books

The August 24^th Danskt Stoderby 2024 (purse to winner 46,431€, 2000 meters autostart) at Charlottenlund Racecourse in Denmark went to the front stepping Juno (4f Great Challenger-Opera Line-Super Arnie) timed in 1.13.1kr and off at 2.84/1 odds.

Michael Lonborg was the winning driver and trainer for owners Nielsen and Hansen. The winning mare was all out at the line to secure her fourth career victory in 18 starts with three wins this year in five appearances.

Ivana Nordic (4f Explosive Matter-Thai Tanisha-Credit Winner) took second at 5.8/1 for reinsman Jeppe Juel and conditioner Nicklas Korfitsen. Third home was 7.8/1 Ibiza Garbo (4f Maharajah-Aure Garbo-Turbo Sund) with Ken Ecce her driver/trainer.
