Bjerke hosts Mares Kriterium and Derby

Two harness racing classic were on stage this day at Bjerke.

The Norsk Stokriterium (purse to winner 54,743€, 2100 meters autostart, 12 starters, three year old females) saw Lilium Sisu (3f Face Time Bourbon-Hey Gorgeous-Cantab Hall) score in 1.13.0kr with Mika Forss driving for trainer Petri Salmela and owner Lilium Oy, Finland.

Off at 3.1/1 odds this was the fifth career win for Lilium Sisu in 15 starts and third ’24 victory in 10 outings.

Finishing second was Lady Nova (3f Maharajah-Supernova TY-Sjs Caviar) driven by Erend Rennesvik for trainer Anders Wolden at 18.9/1 and home third was Taminara at 16.5/1 odds this a (3f Papagayo E-Tamaya-Muscle Hill) trained by Bjorn Larsen.

Fourth was the 1.6/1 odds favorite Skylight reined by Magnus Teien Gundersen,

The co-featured Norsk Stoderby (71,587€ to the winner, 2100 meters autostart, 12 starters four year old mares) was next.

Here the 1.12.9kr timed winner was 1.6/1 odds favorite Meghan B.R. (4f Face Time Bourbon-Henna B.R.-Donato Hanover) trained by Frode Hanre and with Tom Erik Solberg aboard. She has 10 career wins in 15 starts with six wins this year in seven outings.

Second was Monalisa B.R. (4f Readly Express– Escada B.R.-Credit Winner) at 4.4/1 odds reined by Eirik Hoitomt for trainer Thor Berg. Waterloo Bonanza (4f Sinou Madrik-Staro Kiss Of Fire-Yankee Glide) was third for Lar Anvar Kolle at 56.4/1 odds, this one trained by Madeleine Larsen.

Grand Queen was fourth at 6.4/1 with Magnus A. Djuse aboard.
