Ever Hoping A digs in for the win

Ever Hoping A (Always B Miki) (Ron Cushing) captures the $13,000 featured harness racing pace at Tioga Downs on Sunday (September 8).

Rockin On Venus (Tyler Miller) was first to the quarter in :27.0.  Ever Hoping A ($4.90) took the lead with a lap to go and led to the half in :55.0.  Ever Hoping A continued to control thing and led to three-quarters in 1:23.0.

As they reached the stretch Rockin On Venus popped the pocket and went all out after Ever Hoping A.  Ever Hoping A dug in as second place finisher Rockin On Venus kept coming.  Ever Hoping A held on to win in 1:51.2.  Tam Major A (Braxten Boyd) finished third.

Ever Hoping A is a 6-year-old gelding by Always B Miki.  He is trained by Heidi Cushing for owners, Ron Cushing, Downy, Ralph, and Romanelli Racing.

Aaron Byron and Braxten Boyd had driving triples.  Mike Deters, Vern Smith, Heidi Cushing, and Michelle Warner had training doubles.
