Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 12:57pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R4   Feta Go Fernco

Best Value:  R5    Flying Without Wings

Race 1

No Added Sugar (1) Change of stable but did show ability in the North. Good chance fresh
Better Be Watching (2) Getting better with racing. Drawn well and has to be respected in this
Whata Razzle Dazzle (5) At his best would go close to winning this. Could surprise with luck

Race 2

Burning Love (7) Ok last start and this field not much stronger. One of the better chances here
Top Of The Hill (3) Well drawn and has the speed to be one of the main players with manners
Our Rose Hill (4) A bit one paced but can race handy to the front. Improver who can run top three

Race 3

Tilly Dunnage (7) Trial form good and money for her last start. Manners needed but can go close
Shezabettorgirl (1) Solid at recent trials. Good chance fresh up from the ace draw. Needed here
Northview Sweet (5) Better than the form suggests. Trainer change and place claims in this field

Race 4

Feta Go Fernco (3) Easy win last start and a win chance again with a good trip. Has to be included
Sidorova (1) Has not had a lot of luck. Will be improved and expect a better showing from the draw
Close (2) Running on last start and drawn well. Will need the right trip but top three chance here

Race 5

Flying Without Wings (6) Stable does well on the track and has speed. Improver with win claims
Majestic Love (7) Has raced well against better fields. Tricky handicap but small field will help.
Emily (1) Stable respect fresh up. Has been ok at workouts and can run top three off the front.

Race 6

Brookies Player (7) Slight freshen up but has this field covered on ability. Top selection here
Bobbies Rock (3) Drawn well but not at his best yet. Even field but has claims with a good trip
Jenny Gump (1) Quick beginner who might lead early. Will be in it for a long way here. Needed

Race 7

Sargent Best (4) Down on form but looks well suited here.  One for longer odds in this. Include
Betting Sensation (3) Good gate speed and looks the race leader. Should run top three in this
Putere Boy (5) Needs a good trip to show his best. Will be running on late and better suited here

Race 8

Cranachan (5) Can run time and this race looks ideal. Good chance of going one better in this
Jayar Mac (7) Trial form looks a good pointer for this race. Can run top three with the right trip
Cold Pursuit (1) Getting fitter with racing and only needs better gate speed to run top three
