Purdon Racing’s colours will be to the fore on Friday at Addington as Mark and Nathan take some quality stock to the raceway.
The harness racing stable lines up three two year olds in Race One – The Bettor Deal (Bettor’s Delight), The Con Artist (Vincent) and Midnight Miki (Always B Miki).
The Bettor Deal gets the best draw of the trio at barrier three. He’s had two starts for a fourth and a third and has had one winning trial to tighten him up for his 1980 metre mobile.
The Con Artist ran a gallant second on debut and should strip fitter for tomorrow nights assignment.
Midnight Miki has had a number of trials leading into his race debut. He has a strong pedigree with Great Northern Oaks winner Tosi Girl being his granddam.
Two year old trotting filly Luby’s Luck (What The Hill) has had four trials prior to her race night debut. In her last trial she finished fourth against some handy race day winners. She starts in Race Two.
Leading three year old pacer Vessem (Vincent) returns to the racetrack with plenty of big goals in front of him. He last started in May and was a nose away from winning a strong trial at Rangiora ten days ago. He starts in Race Seven.
Mr Kaplan (Betterthancheddar) races her own sex in Race Eight. She’s had a quiet trial since winning at Addington on the 16th August.
