San Moteur wins at Halmstad

The Stall Gekjs Lopp at Halmstad (purse to winner 125,000Sek, 2140 meters autostart) saw 1.16/1 favorite San Moteur (7m Panne de Moteur-Aung San Suu Kyi-Ready Cash) rally past rivals late in the final bend and draw clear for the 1.11.3kr timed harness racing victory.

Trainer Bjorn Goop reined the 23 time career winner in 33 starts. He has three victories in ’24 from four appearances and his life earnings reached 13,372187Sek. Stall Arvidssons is the owner.

Indy Rock (6g Readly Express-L Dees Roccy) was three lengths back second at 4.4/1 with Per Lennartsson driving the Verazzano AB owned and Daniel Reden trainer performer. Toto Barosso (7g Ready Cash-Bibi Barosso) was third for trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner at 44.9/1 odds.

The Halmstad card also showcased Breeders Crown elims starting with the four year old test worth 110,00Sek to the winner and raced over 2140 meters autostart.

Devilish Hill (4g Muscle Hill-Devilish Delight-Father Patrick) was the winner at 1.2/1 odds tied in 1.12.4kr.

Magnus Teien Gundersen teamed the Geir Vegard Gundersen trainee to victory, his eighth in 27 career starts. The 12.1/1 Call Me Gleipner (4m Explosive Matter- Gleipner-Ready Cash) was a close second for Johan Untersteiner and 13.5/1 Gates Hanover (4m Walner-Good Common Cents-Kadabra) was third driven by Per Lennartsson for conditioner Daniel Reden.
