B On The Hunt (Huntsville) notched her first top-class harness racing win on the West Coast as she took the Fillies and Mares Preferred on Thursday (Sep. 26) at Fraser Downs.
Scott Knight sent her straight to the front, and she had things her way through :27.4 and :59.2 splits in the first half. Arrhythmic Dream (Brad Watt) attacked as the field came down the backstretch and was within a length-and-a-half of the leader at three-quarters in 1:27.4. But B On The Hunt dismissed her on the final turn and drew clear, cruising home to a two-and-a-half-length victory. Arrhythmic Dream finished second with Hang On Sloopy (Blaine Chappell) completing the triactor.
