Harness racing hits Timaru again today with twelve races on the card. The racing starts at 12:20pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Call Me The Breeze (6) Still green but has plenty of speed. Can win with no mistakes. Needed
Schoemaker (9) In top form and has to be respected again in this field. One of the main chances
Wypout (3) Back to the grit will help. Decent motor and only needs manners to play a part here
Race 2
The Mantis (2) Tough trip in a stronger field last start. Hard to run down if he finds the front here
Carrera Bravo (1) Stable in form and drawn to get a soft run. Should stick on well in this field
Lily’s A Star (10) Bit unlucky last start and should get a good run through early. Place hope here
Race 3
Fun To Come (5) Has not had all the luck and better than the form suggests. Chance at good odds
General Rebeck (11) Has been good at trials and a good chance fresh up. Has to be included here
Scarlet Madam (12) Made mistakes on her last two runs. Top driver booked today and upset claims
Race 4
Sweet Raine (6) Did too much work last start but previous form was good. Winning claims in this
Didjaseemiki (7) Freshened and has a bit of speed. Can run top three with a good run in transit
Scott Four Shoes (2) Has looked impressive at trials and private reputation. Still green but include

Race 5
Our Evie Rae (8) Galloped late in first run on grass. Back to grit suits and one for longer odds
Opawa Peak (3) Getting fitter with racing. Ok draw and could surprise with a run near the speed
Very Majestic (10) Lacking manners but good enough if she does things right. Go again in this field.
Race 6
Lilac Luxury (7) Better than the form suggests. Improver who could upset with the right trip. Include
Munroe’s Mate (9) Big run last start. Likely to head forward and will stick on well here. Needed
Post Painter (5) Tidy second last start and gate speed to lead early. Should run top three in this
Race 7
Hugo (11) Impressive after breaking early on debut. Has to be a good chance with no early mistakes
The Conqueror (4) Always steps well and trained on the track. Solid top three chance fresh up
Ruby’s A Delight (10) Should be better for last start fifth. Will appreciate the 2600m stand start
Race 8
Boyz Invasion (11) Normally holds his form well and looks over the odds. Go again in this field
Dancing Glenis (12) Decent motor and only needs manners to be a threat at longer odds. Include
Bullit Train (1) Would have won if he got clear room last start. Top driver sticks with. Needed
Race 9
Icee Styxie (10) Has speed and might get a good fence run. Chance here with gaps in the straight
Ideal Chevron (5) Decent motor and mobile will help. Needs luck but will be running on late
Gatecrasher (8) Wide draw a concern but good enough if he can get handy. Top three chance
Race 10
Jordan Anne (2) Has had a freshen up after a good win last start. Good winning chance in this
Holly Highlander (3) Likely to head forward early. Has tidy form and should give a good sight
Luvavici (8) Freshened and lethal with one run at them. Hard to hold out if the pace is on here
Race 11
Cormac Leo (7) Stable fresh runners are on fire. Looks a good chance if he can step away cleanly
Glorys Delight (3) Will be better for the last start third. Tough mare who has winning claims
Wild Willow (5) Hard to gauge fitness levels but no doubting the motor. One of the better chances
Race 12
Wavewatcher (11) Got his second win after working hard last start. Can go on with it now. Needed
Sky Rocket (6) Has been unlucky on occasions and due to get back into form. Change of driver
Micaitlen Denario (14) Tricky draw but capable of running top three at her best. Not the worst
