Northside reschedules card

Officials with Northside Downs were forced to cancel the card of harness racing slated for Saturday, Sept. 28 due to unsafe track conditions.

The starting gate caused a recall in advance of the first race, unable to safely navigate the turns at the Cape Breton half-mile oval, prompting the cancellation.

The Saturday card will now be moved to this Monday, Sept. 30 with a 2:30 p.m. first post time.
