7,000 career wins for driver Chris Page

Grove City, OH— Harness racing driver Chris Page won four races Sunday night (Oct. 6) at MGM Northfield Park, collecting his 7,000^th career win during the process.

Page entered the night with 6,997 wins.  He inched closer to the milestone guiding Mcfehr to the win in the opener.  He pulled to within one of the mark driving Scares Me to the win in the fourth.

In the following race, Page recorded his 7,000^th win in the Buckeye Stallion Series Consolation for Three-Year-Old Colt and Gelding Trotters. He drove Papa Nordin to a gate-to-wire victory.

Page’s fourth win of the night came with Sweet Rose’ in the eighth.

The 40-year-old Page of Delaware, Ohio started his driving career in 2000.  His first career win came the following year with Titanic Fella at the Champaign County Fair in Urbana, Ohio.

Page has amassed over $74 million in purse earnings during his career.
