The 97th Derby Italiano del Trotto (Gr. I, purse 800,800€, 2100 meters autostart, three year old males) turned into an easy front end harness racing victory for 7.2/1 odds First Of Mind (3m Face Time Bourbon-Peace Of Mind-Uronometro) handled by Antonio Di Nardo for trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro.

The 2.9/1 favorite Frank Gio (3m Face Time Bourbon-Zarina Gio-Ruty Grif-Ilaria Jet) was a closing second driven by Matthieu Abrivard for Sebastien Guarato. Third home was 3.4/1 odds Falco Killer Gar (3m Varenne-Zuwara Gar) reined by trainer Gocciadoro.

Feudale Degli Dei (3m Brillantissime) was fourth for Micha Brouwer and Fakir Roc (3m Wishing Stone) was fifth with Santo Mollo at the lines. The winner now has 449,000€ earned.

Gran Premio Gaetano Turilli (Gr. I, purse 154,000€, 2100 meters autostart) brought out top aged performers with 16.4/1 Always EK (8m Filipp Roc-Nike EK) the 1.11.6kr timed winner handled by Magnus Djuse.

The 676,584€ earnings winner defeated 16.8/1 Chance EK (6f Nad Al Sheba-Ukase EK) in a close finish that one handled by Pietro Gubellini.. Third was 46.7/1 Eclat de Gloire (10m Tiego d’Etang-Vive Fee) with trainer Loris Garcia at the limes. Next was 9.9/1 Dolce Viky (5m Adrian Chip) for Robin Bakker and fifth was 19.9/1 FDeus Zack (5m Victor Gio) with Carmine Piscuoglio aboard.
