Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:02pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Cold Pursuit (1) Strikes his weakest field for a while. Should go close here and top selection in this
Ledger’s Maid (6) Racing well and small field will help. Luck needed but will be running on late
Cock A Hoop (8) Has a bit of speed and change of trainer. No form but could surprise. Include

Race 2

Madison’s Moon (6) Disappointing last start but looks a good chance with no mistakes early on
Trippy Tyron (3) Tidy draw and Canterbury raiders normally do well coming south. Can give cheek
Monsignor (8) Change of trainer. Look for a big improvement on previous form. Needed here

Race 3

Vintage Miki (7) Wide draw but was good in a stronger field last start. Short priced favourite here.
Hogie (4) Freshened but previous form good and should give the favourite a run for his money.
Ahthemightytrumpet (6) Top driver booked and will be improved. Top three claims with luck

Race 4

Robyns Hustler (11) Goes ok on the track and good win last start. Can go close with a cart into it
Close (3) Nice draw and can run home with cover. Likely to race handy here and has to be included.
Glenkenick (5) Races well over the shorter trip and change of driver. One for longer odds

Race 5

Here’s Johny (6) Better for the tidy second last start. Has a big finish and should give a sight
Ada R J (3) Good fresh up run last start. Quite an even field but looks one of the better chances
Captain Amore (9) Tricky draw but has a decent motor. Money for him on debut and a must include

Race 6

Missile (9) Track stats ok and nice finish last start. Good chance again in what is a strong field.
Aveross Majesty (8) Can finish well off a good trip and pops up at big odds occasionally. Needed
Abadabado (5) Held them off well last start. Can do some work in the running and stick on

Race 7

Jenny Gump (5) Has gate speed and track suits. Good chance at nice odds if she finds the front early
The Wulver (10) Getting fitter and has top three chances with a good run in transit. Place looks best
No Added Sugar (1) Good draw and one of the major chances in this. Winning claims from the ace

Race 8

Aroha Kenny (15) Stable respect and Ricky May chooses this one. Winning form and top selection
Sheza Gift (10) Conditions suit and a good winning chance if she races handy. Big win last start
Hidden Talent (7) Manners needed but has the speed to be a big hope. At her best goes close here

Race 9

Raklou (8) Big run last start and quick from the mobile. Will be fitter and has winning claims
Threebeersdeep  (6) Winning form is good form. On the improve and not without a chance
Foxing Easton  (3) Nice draw And always gives his best. Look for a good run again in this field.

Race 10

South Seas Rock (8) Quick beginner who looks a strong hope back in this grade. Top selection
Flying Ellie (7) Racing well against the top fillies. Hard to run down if she gets handy in the run
Bowlem Over (2) Could get a soft trip on the pegs. Will be improved for this. Upset chance
