CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – With a grinding first-over effort, Twin B Tuffenuff (Rock N Roll Heaven) was the boss in the Saturday afternoon (Oct. 19) featured harness racing pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Twin B Tuffenuff (#4) in prior win at Charlottetown Driving Park

The $4,500 Preferred pace saw Wind Blown (Driven by Ken Murphy) carve out the fractions of 28, 56.3 and 1:24.4 but fall short to a first-over Twin B Tuffenuff (Gilles Barrieau) in 1:52.3. Third went to Roll Em (Marc Campbell). Ron Matheson trains Twin B Tuffenuff for owner Pat Morris of Charlottetown.

The Fox Group racing events were won by Keeper Floored (Marc Campbell) in 1:55.4 for trainer Roger MacRae and Two Points in 1:56.2 for trainer-driver David Dowling.

Marc Campbell had a driving quadruple on the afternoon as he also won with Navalny (1:55) for trainer Adam Merner, JK Express (1:57.4) for Jared Perrot and Jewels Dragon (1:53) from the Landon Campbell barn.

Dowling tripled in the race bike as he also scored wins with Leavin Bruises (1:57) for trainer Jennifer Doyle and Shadows Terror (1:55.2) for conditioner Jeff Holmes.

TH Boomtown was a 1:55.4 winner in race 7 for his third straight win while doubling up driver Barrieau and trainer Matheson.

Live racing continues Tuesday evening at 6 P.M., at Red Shores Summerside.
