Funny Gio takes out the Orsi Mangelli Filly

The 1.7/1 odds harness racing favorite Funny Gio (3f Face Time Bourbon-Amazing Gio) prevailed in the 88,000€ purse Orsi Mangelli Filly covering 1600 meters autostart timed in 1.11.6kr.

Trainer Alesssandro Gocciadoro engineered a four wide surge from the back that ended in a narrow victory over 2.5/1 Follia d’Esi (3f Ringostarr Treb-Tessa d’Esi with Marco Stefani up and third finishing 30.1/1 Fenice del Ronco (3f Maharajah-Rejna Inn Ronco) with Santo Mollo aboard.

The winner now has 10 career wins for 286,556€ earned. The early stretch leading 7.8/1 Lush Life miscued in upper stretch and continued running on the pegs through the line.
