June (5f Booster Winner-Cenora) easily rallied to victory off a fast pace of Java Dairpet to win the Gr. II monte Prix Xavier de Saint Palais (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, seven five year old starters) at Vincennes on Friday (Nov. 8).
Off at 2.6/1 odds June was handled by jockey and trainer Mathieu Mottier for Ecurie D.M. Mottier. June won for the fifth time and has earned 252,160€. Jean Balthazar (5m Alto de Viette) was second at 4.1/1 ridden by Benjamin Rochard for trainer Pascal Castel and owner Sandrine Loncke. Java Dairpet (5f Vivaldo Bello) set a fast pace, the first 1175 meters in 1.08.0kr, and held a distant third at 14/1 with Paul Philippe Ploquin her jockey for trainer Pascal Lelievre and owner Alain Duthel. This began the second Winter Meet weekend at historic Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes.

On the undercard was the Gr. III Prix de Vaumas (purse 66,000€, 2700 meters, 11 European three year old filly starters). Here the 8/10 favorite odds Lunabella d’Omaha (3f Love You-Giroflee du Rib) scored in 1.13.8kr with Theo Duvaldestin driving the Thierry Duvaldestin trainee for Ecurie MIP.
She won for the sixth time in seven starts and has earned 119,400€. Louvre de Reve d’Or (3f Bold Eagle-Charmeuse de Simm) was second at 4.1/1 odds driven by Eric Raffin for conditioner Marc Sassier and owner Pascal Gerard. Luminosity (3f Royal Dream-Earth Victory) took third at 7.9/1 with Alexandre Abrivard teaming the Etienne Dubois owned and trained filly.
The Gr. III Prix de Chateau-Thierry (purse 66,000€, 2700 meters, eight European three year old colt starters) saw the 1.9/1 odds favorite Lionheart (3m Falcao de Laurma-Decadence) win with ease reined by Jean Michel Bazire for Ecurie de Laradour and trainer Nicolas Bazire. Lionheart has won six times in seven starts for 108,830€ earned with four wins in a row. Race time was 1.16.1kr.
Nicolas Bazire also trains and drove second finishing Lapis Lazuli (3m Ready Cash-Early Star) that Ecurie des Charmes bred and owns. Leonardo Roc (3m Django Riff-Unfaithfully) was third at 3.5/1 odds with Eric Raffin abord the Vitale Ciotola trainee that is owned by Scuderia Sant’Eucebio.
