WASHINGTON, PA, Nov. 13, 2024 — Allen “The Sisco Kid” Sisco and long shot Golden Compass (Sebastian K S) seized the early lead and held off the 1-2 harness racing favorite, Michael Burke (Tequila Talkin) to pull off the 18-1 shocker in Wednesday’s $10,000 Great Lakes Amateur Drivers Association (GLADA) Trot at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
Burke was bidding for his first win in a purse race in nearly three decades, but Sisco had other ideas. He dug in when Burke attacked from the pocket and downed him by 3/4 lengths in 1:54.2, matching Golden Compass’ career best. Pete Stratton (Resolute Bay) and Christina Johnson (A Royal Line) completed the ticket.

Sisco trains Golden Compass, a 6-year-old Sebastian K S-Zette Angel gelding who now boasts a lifetime bankroll of $161,372, for Oldford Racing LLC and Allen Sisco Stable.
Swan Legacy gets lightening lane win
Swan Legacy (Swan For All) released Lite The Candles before the quarter, than blew by him in the Lightning Lane to capture Wednesday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,800 Conditioned Trot.
Once Jeremy Indof pointed Swan Legacy to the Lightning Lane, he drew off to score in 1:55.1.Brace For Landing rallied for second, beaten 3-1/4 lengths, with Barn Hall third.
Todd Keith owns and trains Swan Legacy, a 7-year-old gelding who boosted his career earnings to $286,160.

Hunter Myers and Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. each piloted three winners on the 13-race card.
