Vernon to wrap up meet Saturday

Vernon Downs will end a successful 2024 live harness racing season on Saturday (November 16).

Leon Bailey is the 2024 top driver. He comes into the weekend with 159 wins (career high). John MacDonald is second with 108 wins. Steeven Genois is currently in third with 59 victories.

Jessica Okusko is destined to win the 2024 top trainer award. She currently has 46 wins. Jeff Sorenson goes into the weekend second on the list with 39 tallies. Claude Huckabone III owns the third slot with 38 wins.

Vernon will also honor the trotter and pacer of the year on Saturday.

Vernon will race on Friday (November) and Saturday (November 16) with a 3:05 pm post time.
