Resilience (Jimmy Frieght) was a comfortable harness racing winner in the Ontario-sired Harvest Series for the second straight week, dominating her harness racing rivals in the second leg for three-year-old pacing fillies on Friday (Nov. 15) at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
She marched to the top for Louis-Philippe Roy and was never seriously challenged, leading through :27.3, :56.1, and 1:24 panels. The filly kicked away on the final turn and rolled to a five-and-three-quarter-length score, stopping the clock in 1:51.4. Definingthe Moment (James MacDonald) was second, followed by Laneside Incontrol (Trevor Henry).
RESILIENCE REPLAY
Resilience won the first Harvest Series leg by three lengths and is now three-for-nine this season. Eric Nadeau trains the filly for Louis-Philippe Roy Racing, Ecurie Francis Richard, and Ecurie CSL. Ā The sophomore has amassed seven victories and $186,136 in 16 career outings.
