€220,000 in stakes at Roma Capannelle

Two annual stakes for four year olds were on the Roma program this day with victories earned by Executiv EK and East Asia. The Gran Premio Tino Triossi (total purse 154,000€, 2100 meters autostart) went to Executiv EK (4m Face Time Bourbon-Nike EK-Varenne) timed in 1.12.6kr and off at 1.65/1 odds. Alessandro Gocciadoro reined and trains the now 15 time winner of 402,813€.

Edy Girifalco Gio (4m Victor Gio-Mururoa As-Lemon Dra) was second for Santo Mollo at 12.1/1 odds and 5.9/1 odds Extra Model (4m Ruty Grif-Sonya Star-CC’s Chuckie T) took third for Roberto Vecchione. Encierro (4m Tobin Kronos-Olvera-Korean) was fourth at 4.4/1 with Gaspar Lo Verde at the lines.

The Gran Premio Antonio Carerra (purse 66,000€, 1640 meters autostart, four year old females) saw 1.8/1 odds favorite East Asia (4f Ready Cash-Elvezia-Pine Chip) score in a quick 1.10.2kr with trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro aboard. Bred by Scuderia Sant’Andrea Srl the winner is owned in FR by Jean Pierre Barjon and she now has nine career wins for 372,640€ earned.

Second choice 2.1/1 odds Emma dei Veltri (4f Maharajah-Top Model OK-Conway Hall) was second for Antonio Di Nardo with third to 21.1/1 Eloida (4f Napoleon Bar-Irmass-Bon Vivant) with Mario Minopoli Jr. aboard. Behind these three was 10.8/1 fourth finishing Eternity Bar (4f Love You-Ohle UR-Varenne).
