Harness racing hits Motukarara again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:53am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R5  Sweet Tartan

Best Value:  R6   Sophia Bromac

Race 1

Tessamae (5) Disappointing last start. Grass suits and driver change. Will be improved for this
Wypout (2) Stable respect but would need to do everything right. Top three chance with luck
Bluey (10) First starter trialling ok and should handle the grass surface. One of the better chances

Race 2

Melton Magnate (2) Looks a good from the draw as he has been getting back early. Needed
Revolution (11) Due for a change in form. Has the ability and just needs to show it on race day
Freedoms Beauty (1) Drawn to play a part and a chance with a soft run. Should give a good account

Race 3

Blink N Bones (7) Wide draw but has raced better fields in the past. Chance to get a win here
Bevron (2) Has run some good races in these conditions. Place claims with a fast beginning
Beyond The Horizon (3) Getting older but still a force on the grass. Has run some good races here

Race 4

Don Juan (4) Goes ok on the track and better last start. Stable respect at this time of the year.
Ivona Dadic (13) Tricky draw but fast on her day. Has not had a lot of luck and driver change.
Betterwithbling (12) Might be due to find some form and one for longer odds in this field.

Race 5

Sweet Tartan (3) Better for the good run last week. Should give a sight here at longer odds
Zarlini (9) Wide draw but has been good at trials. Will be running on late here. Include
Royal Belle (13) Tricky draw but has a fair amount of speed. Big odds available for her here

Race 6

Sophia Bromac (14) Good late finish last start and is experienced on the track and behind mobile.
Major Happy (4) Running good races in tough fields. Should give a good account in this grade
Hope For Love (13) Wide draw but racing well. Can do some work in the running and stick on

Race 7

Royal Grace (7) Good chance of going back to back if she steps cleanly. Top selection in this
Solemn Son (12) Form is generally good and should handle grass ok. Chance at longer odds
Oliver (5) Normally quick away. Has a big finish when saved for one run. Top three hope here

Race 8

Bettor Be Sharp (4) Tidy run last start and quick from the mobile. Should race handy and can win
Toby Tom B (11) Has raced well against similar fields. On the improve and one of the better chances
Jose Quivera (9) Tricky draw but better than the form suggests. Look for a good run at odds.

Race 9

Here’s Herbie (8) Grass stats ok and should get a good run through from the draw. Good chance
Triple G (13) Running good races and not far away last start. Will give a good account in this field
Audacity (14) Better than the form suggests. Not the worst in this at longer odds. Upset chance

Race 10

Buffy Northstains (7) Track stats ok and should get a good run through from the draw. Good chance
Paris Prince (2) Running good races and not far away last start. One of the better chances in this
Musclynn (8) Better than the form suggests. Not the worst in this at longer odds. Upset chance

Race 11

Lilac Luxury (6) Conditions suit and a good chance if she gets a soft run. Good run here last start
Wallflower (7) Did too much work last start but getting fitter Can figure here with better luck
Post Painter (10) Pegs draw and will be looking for gaps. Good enough to win with any room
