Harness racing hits Auckland again today with 12 races on the card . The racing starts at 5:24pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R12 Stone Cold

Best Value:  R1 Fearless

Race 1

Fearless (7) Unlucky last start in the running but flashed home. Should run top three with manners
Shesgold (8) Extra distance will not worry after good 2200m win last start. Stable respect. Needed
Father Barry (11) Getting better with racing and only needs a good beginning to be right in it. 

Race 2

Princess Gracy (5) Better draw to work with and form is ok in similar fields. Has to be included
Twisted Sister (6) Might be one of the leaders and will be fitter after good win last start. Go again
Sunset Strip (1) Trila form not bad and gets a draw advantage over main rivals. Top three chance here

Race 3

Cyclone Sala (3) Form ok against the best two year olds. Good run expected but needs to step cleanly
Pat Yates (5) Ok last start and should be improved. One of the major players with a good run in transit
Hayley Mhor (9) Good form of late apart from last start error. Can get into the top three with manners

Race 4

Delightful Chic (6) Solid third last start and a winning chance again with her speed. Top three chance
Waltzing With Miki (8) Wide draw hurts but goes well the track. Should give a good account again
Mack Pack (4) Gate speed to lead and will appreciate the conditions. Place chance at longer odds

Race 5

Sugar Ray Lincoln (1) Fought on last start in a stronger field. Top selection in this from the ace draw
Lincoln Lou (8) Had excuses last start and well placed here. Draw hurts but good each way chance
Gladys Greenland (5) Will be fitter after last starts tough run. Harder here but not the worst at odds

Race 6

Shez Bella (11) Tricky draw but better than most in this field. Will be finishing on late in this. Include
Eurostyle (10) Southern visitor in good form for this. Will need luck but the motor is there. Needed
Regal Girl (5) Can not fault the form but toughest test to date. Not the worst at longer odds in this

Race 7

Sooner The Bettor (4) Stand start the main issue but should win if he can lead up. Hinges on start
Aye Aye Captain (1) Should get a run through early. Might stick on for a top three finish here.
The Big Lebowski (7) Wide draw and stand start are the only query. Upset claims with manners

Race 8

Lady Of The Light (7) Driver change and racing well. Might be to good even from the wide draw
Princess Meritaten (9) Tricky draw but should go close to placing in this. Winning claims with luck
Seaclusion (8) Terrible draw but has blazing gate speed. Top three chance if she can cross early

Race 9

Halberg (4) Racing well and gets a head start on favourites. Fast beginning he is a winning chance
Gold Bullion (8) Decent motor and easy win last start. One of the better hopes in an even field
Pantani (6) Better last start. Will continue to improve and can win with a good run in transit

Race 10

Little Spike (11) Has been racing better fields in Canterbury. Drawn bad but can make his own luck.
Hawkeye Pierce (10) Better than most in this field. Hardly ever out of the money and needed here
Always B Elite (8) Good finish last start and is in good form. Wide draw but has to be included

Race 11

Mantra (7) Track suits and not going too badly of late. Can go close here with a better run in transit
Little Hoofananny (8) Up in grade but running times that will be competitive here. Can go close
Kourtney Kardash (10) Has been disappointing but better than that. Top three claims with luck here

Race 12

Stone Cold (6) Has been unlucky and due to get some form back. Top selection in this field. Include
Eye See You (2) Getting better with racing and has a decent reputation. Nice draw here and can win
Val Thorens (3) Not far away the last few starts. Not the worst at longer odds but will need manners
