Rising four year old Captains Knock (Captaintreacherous) continued his wonderful harness racing form in this series when he led all the way to win the Inter Dominion Pacing Championship Third round Heat 9 at Menangle Park last night.Ā
My Moonlite Dream showed brilliant early speed before her driver Seaton Grima allowed Captains Knock to cross over to lead with the mare taking the trail behind Captains Knock.
Curly James secured the one out and one back trail after Max Delight took off after the field had settled down to race outside the leader.Ā
But Captains Knock was never in danger and he strode away for an effortless win.Ā

Driver Brad Hewitt commented:
āHe went really well. Heās been full of himself. Itās not worrying him at all. Heās used to travelling. The humid weather is the only thing that worries them a bit. I let him roll a bit. I tried to get a break on him with Curly James in the one out and one back position. Heās had no luck in the barrier draws so hopefully heās due with an insider drawā.
My Moonlite Dream showed plenty of spirit in holding on for second with Curly James obtaining third placing.
Max Delight doesnāt know how to run a bad race and despite the hard run he held on for fifth and therefore will qualify for the Final next week.Ā
