Harness racing hits Forbury again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:53pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Tarragindi (6) Racing the top age group and going well. Needs manners but top selection
Sheep (10) Galloped last start. Better than the form suggests and has to be included.
Almighty (1) Nice draw not the worst once underway and will be fitter. Could surprise here

Race 2

Reiver (6)  More ability than most in this but bad draw. No trials but can go close with luck
Donald Trot Well drawn and has the ability to threaten. Top three chance back on grass
Janaka’s Delight (10) Bit of a reputation and winning claims with one run at them. Include

Race 3

Jay R Tolkien (4) At his best would go close in this. Conditions suit and can run top three
Prosperity (8) Wide draw but trialing well. Trainer respect here and bookies keeping short
Crackasky (1) Nice odds available but can surprise with a trail in the race. Outside chance

Race 4

Avenger (1) Bit unlucky on occasions and will be fitter. Draw helps and grass suits. Needed
Lorton Vale (12) Conditions suit and should give a good account with a cart into the race.
Artmore (2) Getting better with racing. Quick beginner who can place with a soft trip

Race 5

Dwindle Star (2) Drawn well and good beginner. Might try for an all the way win. Include
Markthewarrior (14) Wide draw but good enough to figure here. Win chance with manners
Top Pocket Chance (4) Ok on grass in the past. Should be fitter and one for longer odds

Race 6

Asta (1) Draw will be an asset here and top driver booked. Could take some catching
Lily’s A Star (2) Back in form and getting fitter. Can run top three again here with luck.
Forever Arden (9) Has place claims with a good run in transit. Trialing well recently

Race 7

Life Of Art (11) At his best would go close here. One of the faster horses in this. Include
Deceptive Lee (1) Has been disappointing but better than that. Good chance with any luck
She’s Tough (2) Normally safe at the start. Can get into the placings with a soft trip

Race 8

Mr President (9) Freshened and looks over the odds. Will need gaps but capable on his day
Lou’s Deal(1) Grass suits and likely to go forward. If the pace is hot will be running on
Hazer (3) Ok draw for this and grass suits. Place claims again after solid win last start

Race 9

Styrax (3) Beat a god field at Addington. One of the better chances once under way. Needed
Jimmy Carter (9) Good on grass. Will need to step cleanly but a win chance if he does.
One Two Menny (6) Loves the track and solid trial form. Freshened and good winning chance

Race 10

Mouton Cadet (9) Gets an ok draw to use and looks a good value bet here with any gaps
Insarchatwist (2) Due to get back some form. Good chance from the draw and back to grass
Jovial Jay (1) Fitter for the last start run. Ok draw and chance with a quick beginning
