Vivid Wise As wins the Gran Premio Duomo

The gallant champion Vivid Wise As (10m Yankee Glide-Temple Blue Chip-Cantab Hall) closed out his stellar harness racing career today with a coast to coast victory in the Gran Premio Duomo (purse  122,000€, 1600 meters autostart) at Ippodromo Firenze Visarno timed in 1.11.9kr.

The 1.97/1 odds favorite left from past two and refused to yield setting the pace for trainer/driver Alessandro Gocciadoro and owner Scuderia Bivans Srl. The winner advanced his career earnings to 3,734,381€ while winning the Duomo as he did in 2023. He finishes the storybook career with 22 Groupe I victories. Finishing second today was 10.4/1 Ideal San Leandro (6m Timoko) with Bjorn Goop aboard followed by 4.5/1 Dolce  Viky (5m Adrian Chip) with Magnus Djuse at the lines. Dany Capar (5m Explot Caf) and Bleff Dipa (7m Mister JP) completed the top five.
