FORT WASHINGTON, Md. — Business Director’s (Art Director-Best Business) 1:51.3 win over six harness racing foes in a co-featured $8,000 top-level conditioned pace on Monday (Dec. 16) at Rosecroft Raceway capped a driving grand slam for Russell Foster.
The 5-year-old gelding sustained a long-uncovered push from fifth to overpower McNeil Z Tam entering the far turn, only to then evade late pursuit from Shim to win by 6-1/4 lengths. Megan Foster trains Business Director, a 20-time winner who paid $2.20 to win, for Arty Foster III, Wanda Saulsbury, and the driver’s Russell Foster Racing LLC.
