Panel discusses Gural Rule on Harness Racing Alumni Show

On this week’s Harness Racing Alumni Show, our distinguished panel of journalists include Gil Winston, Bob Pandolfo and Bob Marks.

They discuss the Gural rule that bars the offspring of stallions from racing in Meadowlands sponsored races such as the Meadowlands Pace and so forth. This rule applies to the offspring of stallions who were physically able to race as 4-year-olds but retired to ‘stud duty’ at the end of their 3-year-old season. It’s an interesting discussion.
