Ideale du Chene tough in €120,000 Prix Jules Lemmonier

The 9/10 odds favorite Ideale du Chene (8f Bird Parker-Royales du Chene) held gamely to win today’s Paris-Vincennes featured Prix Jules Lemmonier (Gr. II International monte, purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 7 starters ages 5-10).

Timed in 1.11.0kr the Paul Philippe Ploquin ridden mare won her 10th career race in 50 starts now for 1,190,050€ earned.

Intouchable (6m Prodigious-Intente  Action) was a rallying second at 12/1 odds with Mathieu Mottier in the irons for owner/trainer Antoine Marion. The 3.5/1 Granvillaise Bleue (8f Jag de Bellouet-Lady de Brevol) held third for jockey Benjamin Rochard, trainer Pierre Levesque and owner/breeder Michel Gallier. Gold Voice (8f Jag de Bellouet-Lovely de Paris) was fourth at 7.2/1  with Clement Frecelle aboard.

In the Prix de Strasbourg (purse 75,000€, 2700 meters, 11 starters ages 8-10) the 7.1/1 odds Goal Star (8g Look de Star-Queen Love) held on the front to win timed in 1.12.8kr with Yoann Lebourgeois up. The Dominik Locqueneux trainee is owned by Ecurie Lucky 8 Racing and he now sports 10 career wins in 72 starts for 377,270€ earned.

Greco Bello (8g Un Mec d’Heripre) rallied for second at 3.8/1 odds for Antoine Wiels driving for J.P. Marmion, the trainer and owner. Esteban Jiel (10g Coktail Jet) was third for Guillaime Martin at 69/1 with Gold Dairpet (8g Look de Star)  fourth at 11/1 for Paul Philippe Ploquin.

Today’s action ended with the Prix du Morlerault (purse 62,000€, 2175 meters, nine three year old starters). Here the1.1/1 odds favorite Lissandro (3m Ready Cash-Fantasia Dream-Royal Dream) scored for Jean Michel Bazire timed in 1.12.8kr. This colt now has four career wins in 10 starts for 93,065€. Ecurie des Charmes bred and owns this Nicolas Bazire trainee.

Lewis River (3m Eridan-After River) was second at 4.2/1 with Paul Philippe Ploquin driving for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Sebastien Dewulf.  Home third was14/1 odds Leader d’Aimte (3g Ducato Bourbon) with Francois Lagadeuc driving for trainer C.A. Mary.
