Emma Dei Veltri vaults to €121,000 victory

Emma Dei Veltri (4f Maharajah-Top Model OK-Conway Hall) swept to lead in the final lap and gamely held for victory in the Gran Premio Royal Mares (purse 121,000€, 1600 meters autostart) at Napoli Agnano’s 1000 meter course. Antonio Di Nardo reined the 2.09/1 odds favorite to the 11th career win for 179,996€ earned.

Finishing second was 2.11/1 Delicious Gar (5f Father Patrick-Nakitast-Toss Out) with trainer Alessandro Gocciadoro aboard. Dali Prav (5f Donato Hanover-Latina Prav) was third at 15.67/1 with Rene Legati driving benefitting from a pocket trip.

Eloida (4f Napoleon Bar-Irmass) was a 50/1 odds fourth for Mario Minopoli Jr and 40.38/1 Dearrouge (5f Varenne-Sonia Jet) ended fifth for Filippo Gallo.
