Starting from the No. 5 gate, the eight-year-old speared straight to the top, handed up at the end of the first quarter and then divebombed his rivals in the home straight to win by three-quarters of a length.
It was his 25th win and lifted his stake tally to $577,023.
It’s Rock And Roll, a Western Australian bred son of A Rocknroll Dance, sat parked before winning the $27,500 Blue Hen Handicap at Dover Downs on Thursday night (December 19). He won by three-quarters of a length in 1:51.2.
