22-1 upset in STL Gold

Halmstad SWE hosted today’s STL Gold (purse 28,676€, 1640 meters autostart) with victory to fast finishing 22.7/1 odds Stens Rubin (4g Readly Express-Barham Hanover-Cantah Hall) timed in 1.11.6kr.

Trainer Johan Untersteiner was the pilot for Stens Trot AB the owner/breeder. Stens Rubin now shows six career wins in 22 starts. Onas Prince (7m Chocolatier-Sobra-Pine Chip) held second for trainer/driver Per Nordstrom with 14/1 Natorp Bo (7m Andover Hall-Ocean Dream-Dream Vacation) third for trainer/driver Joakim Lovgren.

In Italy at Milano San Siro the Premio Sceicco (purse 15,400€, 1600 meters autostart) went to 7.6/1 odds Golfo D’Esi (2m Maharajah-Lerici-Indro Park) with Antonio Greppi driving timed in 1.14.8kr. He has three career wins and today defeated 1.2/1 favorite Gabadames (2f Greenshoe-Badames) that Alessandro Gocciadoro drove and trains for Jean Pierre Barjon.

Goodbye Bar (2f Robert Bi-Rebecca Laser) was third at 7.1/1 odds with Pietro Gubellini aboard. Gocciadoro drove four winners on the card – Eurndro  Degli Dei in 1.11.8kr; Geraldine Bar timed in 1.13.9kr; Voltare Gifont in 1.14.1kr and Enaoz in 1.11.8kr.
