Shartin N to be inducted into Living Horse HOF

The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame’s Living Horse Hall of Fame nominating committee has announced the results of the 2025 elections. Museum members voted for the four horses they believed exemplified greatness: Ariana G, Marion Marauder, Put On A Show, and Shartin N, all celebrated for their racing achievements. These remarkable horses will be inducted on Hall of Fame Day, Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Museum’s annual dinner.

World champion trotting mare Ariana G, with a record of 4,1:50.2 and earnings of $2,465,459, raced from 2016 to 2018. During her career, she won 26 out of 40 lifetime starts.

Marion Marauder, with a lifetime record of 7,1:50.2 and earnings of $3,392,609, is one of only nine trotters in harness racing history to win the Triple Crown. He raced from 2015-2020, achieving 69 starts with a record of 22-17-8.

World champion Put On A Show, a 2007 foal, retired as the fastest female pacer in history with a record of 1:47.3. She had career earnings of $2,406,628 in 50 starts, with 31 wins, 9 seconds, and 2 thirds.

The 2019 Horse of the Year and world champion pacing mare Shartin N, with a record of p,6,1:46.4 and earnings of $2,555,629* became the fastest distaff Standardbred in history with her 1:46.4 mark. She is the first Horse of the Year bred outside North America.

To be eligible for nomination to the Living Horse Hall of Fame, Standardbreds must meet strict criteria outlined on the Museum’s website. For the complete list of elected horses, please visit the website.

The Hall of Fame Day celebrations will also include the inductions of Tom Aldrich, Bob Boni, Mal Burroughs (posthumously) and Chris Ryder into the Hall of Fame. Lester Hollenback, Bob Key, Harmon Showers, American Winner, Grades Singing, Magician, Romalie Hanover and Town Pro will be inducted into the Hall of the Immortals. Additionally, Judy Davis-Wilson and Debbie Little will be inducted into the Communicators Hall of Fame.
