Die Hard scores at Vincennes

The Italian registered and owned Die Hard (6m Bird Parker-Rosnay) captured today’s Paris-Vincennes featured Prix de L’Hippodrome d’Angers-Ecouflant (purse 46,000€, 2850 meters, 15 European harness racing starters ages 6-8 years) timed in 1.13.5kr.

Off at 16/1 odds this Francois Lagadeuc teamed trotteur is owned by Massimo Finetti and trained by Pierre Louis Desaunette and he won for the first time in France to advance his career earnings to 131,882€. Mateo di Quattro (6m Bird Parker-Wordie Hanover was second at 5.2/1 odds with Bjorn Goop driving for Johan Untersteiner and Peter Bronsman AB.

Dayak (6m Bird Parker-Namaura) was third for Paul Philippe Ploquin at 16/1 odds for trainer H.E. Bondo and owner Azienda Agricola Sante Rosa.

Oscar Can Holbeek (7g The Bank) was fourth with Jolvert du Gers (6g Bold Eagle) ended fifth. The 2,6/1 favorite HC’s Crazy Horse was a dq. As shown above Italy loves Bird  Parker.

Next the Prix de Challans (40,000€ purse, 2700 meters, 15 European starters age four) went to 7.8/1 odds Lady Haufor (4f Boccador de Simm-City Haufor-Niky) that David Thomain piloted for veteran trainer Christian Bigeon, also the owner and breeder.

This one now has three wins in eight career starts for 73,700€ earned. Race time was 1.13.8kr. Home second was 67/1 odds outsider Finlandro Tor (4f Maharajah-La Gioconda Bi) driven by Franck Ouvrie for trainer Vitale Ciotola and owner Michele Punzo.

The 5.1/1 Bourbaniste (4f Face Time Bourbon-Affinity Kronos) captured third with Robin Bakker aboard for Paul Hagoort training for Stall Panamera Racing. The 9/1 Flores de Campo (4f Ringostarr Treb-Palomitas-Love You) was fourth with Jean Michel Bazire aboard and 5.6/1 Latina Quick (4f Princde Gede-Amethyste Quick-Prodigious) was fifth for Benjamin Rochard.
