Last Glow left alertly at the start of the race.  Keg Stand, the 1/5 betting harness racing favorite, floated on the outside then rushed to the top after being parked to the opening quarter in 27.4

Keg Stand marched to the half in 56.3 (28.4) as the field of trotters remained in single file.  Rivers braved the chilly temperatures and sprinted 1st over down the backstretch in pursuit of Keg Stand.

Keg Stand continued confidently on the lead passing the three quarters in 1:26. (29.2).  Last Glow watched the action from the pocket.  Platinum AS saved ground along the pylons.

Keg Stand  remained strong in the stretch and won by a half length in 1:54.2.  He paid $2.40 for the victory.

KEG STAND REPLAY

Keg Stand (Bar Hopping) is owned by David R. Hamm  and Evm Racing LLC both from Delaware.  Nick Devita trained and Tony Morgan drove.  Rivers finished 2nd.  Platinum As was 3rd.

Owner David Hamm won four races on the betting card.  Trainer Nicholas Devita a training triple.  Driver Tim Tetrick drove five winners.

There is a $1,406 Pentafecta carryover to tomorrow’s 14th race.

Wednesday’s feature is the $25,000 Mares Open Handicap Pace as Majorca N looks to win her third consecutive race.  Her main competition will include last week’s winner in this class Disturbed Hanover and arch rival Incaseyoudidntknow.

Bally’s Dover races Monday thru Thursday.  Post time is 4:30 pm
