Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with 8 races on the card . The racing starts at 4:39pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Best Bet:  R4  Master Savoy

Best Value:  R5  Captain Kobe

Race 1

Monaro Meg (1) Nice run in a stronger field last start. Should run top three with manners
Stash The Cash (3) Small field will help and should begin quickly. Stable respect. Needed
Scoots (6) Getting better with racing and could upset with a good trip. Place chance

Race 2

Ultimate Mach (1) Good third last start and looks easier here. Has to be included in this
Always B Mine (7) Wide draw but good enough to run a place here. One for longer odds
La Miki (3) Improver from her last campaign where she raced much stronger fields. Include

Race 3

Conrad H (4) Goes ok on the track and due to get back into form. Better run expected
Patrick Mahomes (1) Ok last start and a threat to the favourites with a good run in transit
Lovemeagain (9) Good effort last start and track stats good. Can sneak into the top three

Race 4

Master Savoy (2) Big motor but still learning. Likely winner with no mistakes. Top selection
Kowalski (8) Racing well in good fields but tricky draw here. Should give a good account
Rasmussin Effect  (7) Average form but improver with a place chance at longer odds in this

Race 5

Captain Kobe (4) Has not had a lot of luck. Better draw and conditions suit. Winning claims
Words (7) Nice second last start but wide draw. Likely favourite who has to be hard to beat
Ohoka Achilles (2) Will be fitter after last start. Nice draw and should get a soft trip. Include

Race 6

Boyz Invasion (3) Good against a similar field last start. Hard to beat here. Needed
Boss Kenny (7) Should get a soft run handy. Winning claims with no mistakes. Include
Mazeppa (6) Due to show form and now in top trotting stable. Big improvement expected

Race 7

Spirit Of Waiheke (5) Draw hurts but has raced better fields. Can run a tidy race in this
Doctor Tim (7) Disappointing last start. Might need luck but good enough to run top three
Reet Petite (1) Best draw and has been good in her races. Upset claims with a trailing run

Race 8

Messenger Buoy (5) Racing ok in stronger fields. Will need luck but should go well here
Follow Me Fantasy (6) Up in grade but looks like he will go on with it. Winning claims
Change Tact (7) No form but much better than that. Top three chance with a good trip
