MEMORIAL PLANNED FOR WEDNESDAY
Racing will resume at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows this Wednesday, post time 12:45. Prior to the card, as the simulcast show begins at 12:15, horsemen will gather in the winners circle to remember the life of Hunter Myers, who was fatally injured last Wednesday in a tragic racing accident. As the Meadows community comes together to help each other with the healing process, a video celebrating Hunter’s life will be shown prior to a moment of silence in his honor. All horsemen in the region are invited to attend and participate. We ask that everyone gathers in the area of the winners circle no later than 12:10.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE PLANNED
Hollywood Casino at The Meadows is working in conjunction with the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association to find ways to best help the Myers family. We are also planning a Celebration of Life that will take place at a date to be announced. Further information will be provided as soon as it is available.
MSOA RAFFLE TO BENEFIT MYERS FAMILY
The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association is conducting a raffle for a UFO race bike or a Pennsbury jog cart, with all proceeds benefitting the Myers family. Tickets are $10 each. For more information, contact the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association at msoa@themsoa.com.
SERIES FINALS MOVED TO THURSDAY, FRIDAY

They will leave from post 5 in the $19,000 event. On Friday, it will be the Wilbur Zendt Memorial Pacing Series final, for a purse of $19,400.
